These are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. If you have questions that are not listed here please feel free to ask us!
How do I book?
Please place all bookings through our website at www.luxeperiences.net and select the “Book Now” button.
How far in advance should I book an event?
The earlier you book your picnic, the more of a possibility to accommodate you. At the minimum, please book 5 days in advance of your event. In the case of a last-minute booking, you can contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do I need a permit for the location I chose?
Depending on your selected location some parks and venues require permits; others don't. If a permit is needed, we will help you gather the information to secure it.
Where can I have my picnic set up?
We deliver to any home in the Birmingham area. Hotel and Airbnb set is also available. If you have a request outside of Birmingham, please email us at contact@luxeperiences.netIf your picnic is greater than 15 miles from the Birmingham area, there will be an additional charge. If the picnic is at your home, please have the space cleared in the area you would like to set up.
Do picnics include food?
Charcuterie grazing boards can be selected as an add-on. Our grazing boards consist of various meats, cheeses, fruits, and nuts. Dessert boards are also offered. The charcuterie boards can be modified for dietary and allergic reasons. If modifications are needed, please add them to the notes section when booking. Food order pickup is also available for a fee if you would like to order food.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you can bring your own food.
Do you provide beverages?
Yes, we provide lemon and lime infused water
Can I bring my kids?
Kids under 10 are free. Please let us know in the notes section if kids will be added. If they are over 10 and you’d like us to include seating and food for them, then include the kids in the guest count.
Can I customize my picnic?
Currently, we have predesigned themes, and we are hosting up to 6 guests. For any additional customization or special requests please email us at contact@luxeperiences.net We will work with you to customize an upgraded package and make your dream experience a reality.
What if the weather is bad on my booked picnic date?
We will check the weather to make sure your picnic is perfect. If the weather looks bad, we will reach out to you 48 hours before the picnic date to talk about options. Our bubble tent is very
weather friendly, and the picnic can also be set up in your home. We can also reschedule for a future date at no charge.
What happens if I show up late?
Your picnic starts at the scheduled time you selected during your booking. We understand life isn’t perfect, so we give a 10 min grace period.
Do we have to clean up when we are done?
No. Our team will set up your picnic and clean up.
Can we leave prior to our scheduled end time?
Yes. Please provide us with a 30 min notice via phone call or text message. You are responsible for all picnic items until we can return and pack up.
Are deposits refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel, please let us know 72 hours in advance and we will reschedule.
Will you stay during my picnic?
No. We do not stay on-site during your picnic. You are required to remain with your picnic the entire time. However, if you need us during your picnic or if you need to leave early you can text us and we will arrive within 30 minutes.
How much is Deposit?
A 50% deposit is required when you book, and the balance is due 72 hours prior to your event. Deposits are nonrefundable. We are more than happy to reschedule you for a better date.
What if I have to cancel my picnic?
Your picnic is always transferrable to a new date or location at no charge. If you must cancel your picnic, please try to give 48-72 hours' notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand life happens! We are able to reschedule if notice is given 72 hours before your event.
REFUND POLICY
Luxe Experiences doesn't offer any refunds once payment has been received.
RESCHEDULING POLICY
There are no rescheduling fees if notice is given within 72 hours.
WEATHER POLICY
Luxe Experiences reserves the right to make cancellations on the day of the picnic due to inclement weather. We will notify you via email, and we will attempt to reschedule your picnic or event. We will offer a home set up or try to offer a different day/time.
If the weather allows us to set up a picnic but remains poor; Luxe Experiences LLC reserves the right to adjust our events to accommodate such weather conditions.
USE OF EQUIPMENT
ALL EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED BELONGS TO Luxe Experiences.
Client and guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or improper use of the equipment.
If any of the equipment supplied is lost or damaged, a penalty fee will be charged, covering the total monetary value needed to replace each missing/damaged item.
Fees must be paid within 48 hours of the event, and will be charged to the card on file, unless resolved within the 48-hour timeframe.
Luxe Experiences' inventory is extremely delicate and must be treated as such. INCLUDING ADD-ON RENTALS.
ALL above-stated policies apply until we clean up.
IF, FOR SOME REASON CLIENT NEEDS TO LEAVE EARLY, IT IS THE CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY TO COMMUNICATE VIA EMAIL/TEXT 30 MINUTES IN ADVANCE SO WE CAN BREAK DOWN THE PICNIC AND CLEAN UP.
LATE POLICY
If you are late for your picnic, you will have a 10-minute grace period which will extend your picnic by 10 minutes. Lux Experiences reserves the right to break down the picnic and not reschedule if you are more than 40 minutes late without notice.
